It is officially fall and we have concluded our choral-infused spring/summer season. And what a season it was! We enjoyed singing all over town, including the Lonsdale Spring Celebration, North Van’s Art in the Garden Tour, Relay for Life, the In the House Festival, the Richmond Night Market and the Richmond International Night Market (who knew there were two?!?).
The technological saviness of our group has also improved over the last couple of weeks – we now have management meetings regularly via Google Hang-out. It is quite amusing watching everyone’s face pop up from our various homes as you can see from this photo from our most recent meeting:
The Scarlettes could not wait for fall to start to add new and exciting Christmas repertoire. We have some really fun songs that we are preparing for you and brand new choreography! Without giving too much away, expect other languages, Christmas classics and upbeat numbers that will make you want to get up and dance right along with us. We are booking Christmas shows and gigs right now so if your event needs some added “sweetness” or holiday cheer, make sure to contact us.
AND make sure to save the date for our self-presented Christmas show at the PAL Studio Theatre in Coal Harbour on December 14th at 2pm. It is bound to be a fun afternoon that will leave you in the holiday spirit. More details will be coming soon!
