There’s only 8 short days left until Sweet Scarlet takes the stage with our favourite choral group, MomChoir, for our highly-anticipated spring show, It Takes a Village – do you have your tickets yet?
We are SO excited for this show – not only because we’ve got some awesome new songs that we will be debuting, but also because ALL of the proceeds raised at this performance will be going towards the Pacific Post Partum Support Society. As most of you know, each member of Sweet Scarlet is a mother. In fact, we have 15 (FIFTEEN!) children between us. When we first started, there were only 4 Sweet Scarlet kids, so we’ve been through 10 pregnancies and 11 newborn babies together since then, and being able to gather once a week to sing together has been and continues to be so grounding for each of us. That’s why we are thrilled to be raising funds for such an awesome cause at this event – an organization that supports, encourages and assists new mothers and their families after the arrival of a new baby.
