While we didn’t quite take a full hiatus this summer, Sweet Scarlet did enjoy a few weeks break here and there to accommodate lots of family time … vacations, trips to France, new babies (did we mention Laura had twins?!), 1 year birthday parties and more!
So just like everyone else, September has brought us back to reality … back to school for many of our kidlets (starting Kindergarten for three of our brood); back to school for our three teachers; back to work from maternity leave for one and just straight up keepin’ on working for a few! But most importantly, September brings us Scarlettes a renewed focus on our music as we get serious about our Christmas show preparations.
Our annual self-presented Christmas show is a special tradition for us – a time of year that we all cherish for its family time, its music and the opportunity to perform a special show for our beloved fans. This year we’re excited to share with you a lot of new repertoire along with some of our favourites for the impending winter season. So #SavetheDate! Sunday, December 9th we will be presenting a matinee show in North Vancouver at Capilano College’s Blueshore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts.
