October is upon us. The days are getting shorter and the scenery in Vancouver is adorned with gold and amber leaves. Although Christmas is our favourite season, fall may be a close runner-up. Sweet Scarlet is continuing to meet each week to rehearse in preparation for our 7th annual self- presented Christmas show. (Remember to save the date: Sunday, December 9th 2018!) Committing to a regular schedule, learning new music and new ‘choralography’, on top of working and raising a family, is a lot of work. But we are grateful to have this time to enjoy something we love to do ~ sing! With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we wanted to take the time to think about all the things we are grateful for this season. We are grateful for each other, knowing we have 5 beautiful women in each of our lives who are there for moral support and friendship. We are thankful for the beautiful music and harmonies we sing together. We are thankful for our loving families who support our passions and dreams. Most importantly, we are thankful for you!
